Our client is an award winning software development business who are currently looking to strengthen their team with a Back-End PHP Developer. Within this role, you will be responsible for designing technical program changes, code solutions and provide both implementation and post implementation support. About the role The successful PHP Developer will join an ambitious, high-calibre team who provide a full development life cycle from concept and idea generation, to development, testing and ongoing support. The purpose of this role is to develop high quality, safety-critical software that is crucial to operating key national infrastructure. Main duties will include: Analyse business requirements Design and specify technical program changes Code solutions and provide both implementation and post-implementation support Delivery must be within agreed timescales and to agreed procedures and standards Take ownership and be proactive in maintaining best practise Platforms and Technologies used include: Back-end PHP, Javascript, HTML, jQuery, SQL Eclipse, Visual Studio, Git and SVN Windows, Linux About the company This is an established business who are passionate about developing safety critical software.
