Overview

NHS Perinatal Mental Health Nurse, Band 5 Vacancy working in an inpatient setting with women experiencing mental health illness during pregnancy and in the 12 months following birth in Winchester. A Mental Health Nurse is needed to join a busy team, providing an accessible service that contributes to the care of pregnant women with mental health illnesses. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the mental health nursing care needs of the women accessing the service. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to work in conjunction with complex care plans that can be used to aid patient recovery. The ability to work autonomously and under pressure is essential and is passionate about ensuring a high quality holistic approach to the care and support provided to the women who have been identified as in need of perinatal support to enable them to have a positive experience of pregnancy, childbirth and during the first years of motherhood. The hours of work are night shifts across 7 days. The rate for the position is £28 p/h. This a popular role with lots of interest, so please apply as soon as possible.
