Care Support Worker

Are you looking for a fulfilling role in care, working regularly with customers and helping them stay independent, in their own homes? We are looking for full-time and part-time care and support workers, with or without care experience in the Largs area (Largs, Skelmorlie, Ayrshire North Coast). We’ll train and support you, so you can confidently deliver a great service. You’ll develop a bond with your customers, which will help you to assist them with tasks and keep an eye on their health and wellbeing. You will need to be a driver with access to a car, to travel between customers. We welcome existing or friends double up teams, for our two-handed care worker customers. You must be able to start work at 7am for early shifts and finish around 10pm for late shifts. We have a number of shift patterns which can be discussed at interview but you must be able to work some weekends. You will need a car for the majority of our work, although we have a few walking runs too. You’ll be helping your customers with personal care, such as; Getting up and ready for the day Washing Dressing Bathing Toileting Getting ready for bed And practical tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, meal preparation and cooking, doctor’s appointments and shopping.
