Residential Child Care Worker

Our client currently requires a Residential Childcare Worker to work within a children’s home based in Cronton. Salary: £8.50-£9.00 per hour Hours: Full-time Location: Cronton Service: Children’s Residential The communities are generic children’s homes providing education. The communities are using the SPARCS methodology. Post holders will be required to work a minimum of 35 hours per week 12-hour shifts, including waking nights and weekends on a rota basis. Experience of direct work with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties is essential and preferable a QCF Level 3 Caring for Children and Young People or recognised professional qualification in therapeutic work with young people. THE ROLE: We are recruiting Care Officers to work alongside the existing team to deliver a high quality of care and support to the children and young people in our care. You will contribute to individual Quality of Life Plans and provide a balanced programme of personal development focusing on social skills, independence and community involvement enabling the young people to achieve their full potential.
