Overview

I have a number of opportunities available for assistant registered managers to join a leading provider of residential and housing care for older adults and adults with learning disabilities across the North Staffordshire region. You will become a key member of the management team for a well respected provider who provides a variety of housing, care and support services across the Telford, Shropshire and Staffordshire regions. Employed on a full time basis, you will work closely with the registered manager to oversee the day to day running of a residential setting which accommodates between four and sixteen residents with learning disabilities. You will play a key role in care and support planning, whilst actively supporting the people who reside here to live independent and fulfilling lives. In the absence of the home manager, you will oversee the day to day running of your home, manage the staff team and ensuring quality and compliance. The Assistant Registered Manager role is the perfect opportunity for a skilled senior support worker or team leader who is seeking their first step into a management role. Alternatively, you may be a registered manager who is looking for a new challenge but doesn't want to hold CQC registration. To be considered for these exciting roles, you must: Hold a minimum of the level 3 in health and social care. Ideally you will be working towards the level 5 in leadership and management or be committed to achieving this. Have proven experience within residential care, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours Have flexibility to share the on call rota with the registered manager In return, you will receive a competitive salary up to £24300, dependent on experience, on going training and development, generous annual leave allowance and other exciting benefits.
