Position We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Health and Safety Advisor to provide effective and positive health, safety and environmental support on all current legislation, policies and industry best practice. You will help to engage and inspire employees and contractors to follow and adhere to our high standard of HSE and assist and encourage the reporting of risks or issues that need attention. Organised and meticulous, you will be responsible for ensuring that all accidents are reported, documented and investigated as per regulation and our own policies. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about health and safety, and engaging with the workforce as we are and will ensure that steps are always taken to get it right. You’ll be accustomed to liaising with people, promoting the positive effect of a well-developed health and safety strategy and influence those around you. Qualification / Skills Our ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate / Construction Certificate or have equivalent experience with evidence of an appropriate H&S qualification and will have a current working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including CDM. You will ideally have worked within the construction industry and will be confident when liaising with people from all levels within the company. You will be an ambassador for Health & Safety techniques and strategies and will share your knowledge and expertise while ensuring you keep up to date on any changes to policies and procedures. This is a crucial role for our company and we are looking for an individual who not only follows Health & Safety principles and best practice, but believes in their success. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full driving licence and have a flexible approach to work.
