Overview
Daval Machining Services Ltd has an open position for a CNC Operator / Programmer at our premises in Oldmeldrum. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC Lathe’s, CNC Mills or both. They must be time served or have relevant experience in this field, with references to back this up. We are looking for someone that will require little or no training. They must be able to manufacture parts from various materials to a very high standard to meet our customer requirements. We are a ISO 9001 accredited company which requires every member of staff to play their role in maintaining a high-quality service for our customers. The ability to read drawings and program speeds/feeds according to the material being machined is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to work a 38 hour week (Monday – Friday) and work overtime as and when required. As a relatively small firm it is very important that you are able to work well as part of a friendly team of staff. Essential Qualifications: Experience in working within a similar field at a previous company. Time served as a CNC Machinist. Machine programming - ideally Mazatrol or Fanuc Machine set up The ability to read engineering drawings The ability to machine material at correct feeds / speeds. Salary: Competitive / Negotiable Must be a UK resident have Permit to work in the UK. NO AGENCIES.
