Software Tester (C# .Net SQL TDD) Basic Salary – up to £40K dependant on experience Evolution Money is a dynamic organisation and an established lender. We’re looking for a Software Tester to join our Development team. As our Software Tester you’ll Operate across the full C# .Net development lifecycle, from defining and refining acceptance criteria, creating User Stories and translating them into test specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identifying opportunities for test automation. You'll be responsible for executing a variety of functional / non-functional tests, both manual and automated including regression, integration, stress and GUI testing. You'll be participating in software design meetings and partnering with software & senior software developers to ensure testability is built into the architecture and code and will be able to investigate new test tools and integrate them to the Continuous Integration process. Responsibilities include: Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios Executing tests on software usability Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs and usability Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team Interacting with clients to understand product requirements Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems Ongoing support of all systems in a live environment Fully analyse any business requirements to meet the demands and needs of the business. Diagnose system/software problems and implement the solutions. Assist in the creation/support of Management Information. Clearly document any changes using change log.
