Part Time Financial Controller (25 hours per week) | Chesterfield | £40,000 The Opportunity An opportunity to enjoy a superb work-life balance alongside a varied and challenging role within a business where you can really make a difference. Well established and flourishing owner-led SME based in North East Derbyshire have an immediate requirement for an experienced Financial Controller (reduced hours - 25 hours per week). You will be the primary finance contact for the business, supporting the business owners to deliver further growth and success. Your remit will include Budgeting and forecasting Full management accountant pack and KPI reporting Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholder discussion Year-end duties Month end close - managing a small team Introducing robust controls and fit for purpose MI/KPI reporting The business is amid a phase of growth and investment. You will bring the numbers to life and provide reliable financial evidence for key decision making. You will ensure the MD has complete peace of mind that the financial management of the SME is in safe hands. You will need A professional qualification. Confidence when dealing with senior stakeholders including the business owners / investors. Ability to confidently produce detailed and credible management accounts. Confidence when managing external stakeholder relationships (bank / auditors etc.). Great interpersonal skills.
