Overview

Accountable recruitment have partnered up with an import / export organisation based in Bootle. Role is commutable via train, bus or car. In this role you will be the Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant for the organisation and you will be working with high volume and workload so being able to work at a fast pace is crucial. Duties will include to manage invoice processing, reconciliation of supplier statements, matching, checking and coding invoices. You will be working out VAT payments and making payments via BACS / cheque while setting up new suppliers and accounts. Experience within excel and accounting systems is needed. In this role it will have an aspect of Sales ledger and duties would include to coordinate those aspects of company invoicing and credit control therefore you will coordinate and chase overdue payments by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales. This position is a Full Time permanent position and pays a salary from £19,500 - £22,500 per annum dependant on experience.
