Patient Coordinator Location: Leeds Salary: £18,000 per annum Bonus Shift Pattern: 9am - 5pm / X2 11am - 7pm X1 Saturday in 4 ICS Health & Wellbeing is a dynamic and accomplished organisation dedicated to making the UK’s local and workplace communities healthier. The ICS Health & Wellbeing brand has been selected to deliver the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NHS DPP) across the UK. NHS England, Public Health England and Diabetes UK have committed to improving efforts to prevent diabetes. The programme is designed to deliver on Physical activity and dietary components, underpinned by behavior change techniques. This role would suit someone who has experience working within a public health/promotion environment and who is accustomed to handling medical information in a sensitive and accurate manner. Key tasks include: Being responsible for booking one-to-one and group appointments and dealing with patient/referrer/coach enquiries. Ensuring patients receive excellent customer service by having a great knowledge of the programme and its benefits. Answer calls swiftly to reduce the time spent queuing. Building a good relationship with patients through sensitive understanding of their needs and requirements. Handling sensitive data with attention to detail and maintaining accurate service user records. Supporting the service user engagement strategy to ensure adherence to the programme and minimise drop-outs. Supporting with office administration tasks as required. Monitoring of shared mailboxes. Identifying and escalating priority issues. About You You possess great communication skills. Able to prioritise and multi - task. You possess great organisation skills. You enjoy building relationships. Qualifications You already have previous experience within a telephone customer service role. Previous experience of building relationships within an internal capacity. IT literate. Competent user of Outlook and other MS Office tools. Strong admin skills.
