Overview

Our Global client based near Maldon, are seeking a Trainee Electronics Engineer to join their well respected R&D team to provide Electronic design for new and existing products, initially on a temporary basis but with a possibility of becoming permanent. If you have a BSc Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, together with some experience in electronic design ideally, please read on Responsibilities include: Electrical design of new products from concept through to outsource manufacture and ongoing support. Equipment testing and fault finding. Also working on existing products. Working with the Global Engineering group. Using MS Office inc Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project. Essential skills : BSc Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics (min grade 2:1) Previous experience in electronic design - this can be from either an internship or amateur hobbies etc. A natural flare for design. A practical hands-on approach in building prototypes. Excellent communication skills - both written and oral. Additional Information : Temporary with a possibility of becoming permanent.
