Database Developer BIM-UK are a construction consultancy business that specialises in developing industry leading software to drive innovation in our existing consultancy services, but also package and market as standalone products/tools. The role: Full time, permanent – Leeds Based Development of commercial software for use in the construction industry Main duties will include Database design/development Database modelling, which includes designing relational and warehouse models Working with SQL Server and databases within an Azure environment Providing support to existing applications The successful candidates will Have a degree in a related discipline Have at least 3 years’ experience working in a developer/junior developer role Be a self-motivated team player who demonstrates excellent judgement and decision-making skills Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills Consider sustainability, collaboration, innovation and integrity in all aspects of their work. The successful candidates will ideally possess skills and experience in DevOps – builds and releases ARM Templates and PowerShell Agile methodology and of Kanban Azure technologies Git source control Resources such as Logic Apps, Data Factory and Power BI ETL/ELT principles Remuneration and benefits include £30,000 - £40,000 salary (depending on experience/qualifications) Training/Microsoft accreditation Payment of professional fees 25 days holiday entitlement Company pension scheme Company life insurance, income protection insurance and personal accident insurance schemes 37.5 hours per week with flexible working arrangements To submit your CV, please click Apply.
