3rd Line IT Support Engineer – 1 year fixed-term contract £37,968 - £46,684 DOE & Benefits You’re a proven 3rd Line Engineer, looking for a new challenge and wanting to take a step up. If you prefer the security side of IT, all the better. Read on. You'll join a bustling developing IT function in our world-class facility. You’ll be on your toes managing a variety of challenges to support the security of the business, you’ll need a keen expertise in a range of areas to resolve security related issues; from SIEM tools to helping users make the most of their devices in a secure manner. You'll be part of the IT Security arm of the IT Team with broad remit from Microsoft 365 DLP/AIM as well as acting as the main port of call for all things NCC network related to the rest of the IT team. But this role is more than just the day-to-day. The NCC is undergoing some exciting and complex change projects, so you'll need to be able to work in a shifting and changing environment. Here's just some of the stuff we have going on: Migration to Office 365/Azure Hardening of on-prem infrastructure A variety of operating system hardening projects Network re-architecture design and co-ordinating network management Industrial control systems and private 5G networks Technically, we’re looking for experience in troubleshooting Microsoft server and client operating systems (Win 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016, W7, W10), Group Policy Management. If you have network admin skills (VLANs, DHCP scopes, Firewall etc.) Microsoft/Cisco qualifications and SQL administration experience that's a plus. This is a 1 year fixed-term contract. Normally this wouldn’t be ideal, but within those twelve months you’ll being doing more than just business-as-usual, making this a great step in your career.
