Overview
We are representing a long established insurer with excellent reputation and strong regional presence. Based out of prestigious Manchester city centre offices, they have exciting plans for ongoing expansion. A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, high calibre individual to assume this senior appointment, managing a team of underwriters and holding overall responsibility for the branch in meeting defined financial goals. You will spearhead broker development and relationship management in the region, ensuring that in addition to the successful management and development of the team, key deliverables such as growth and compliance are met with. Underwriting experience is desirable however not essential as this organisation boasts a strong technical team who will be responsible for case by case underwriting activity. Essentially you must possess robust broker relationships, especially with independents across the North West region, and the ability to implement growth strategy. Previous experience leading a team in a results focused environment is preferred, albeit for the right individual coaching of this aspect will be provided.
