Practice Manager

Simpson Judge is working on behalf of an award-winning business based near Stockport who are looking to appoint an experienced and driven Practice Manager into a lively team. In this role, you will be tasked with leading the accounts function, be a first point of contact for clients and you will also be responsible for implementing new accountancy services. Responsibilities: • Overall control of the accounts function and distributing work accordingly • Setting and keeping track of KPI’s • Production of in-house accounts for group companies • Promoting cloud-accounting • Reviewing statutory accounts • Reviewing corporation tax returns • Reviewing and completing self-assessment tax returns • Supervising and training staff • Recruiting new staff Requirements: • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT Qualified (required) • Demonstrable experience managing client relationships • Excellent software experience, including cloud-based software which might include; Xero, Freeagent, Quickbooks, Digita (desirable) • Dynamic and open to introducing new processes • Can-do attitude
