Overview
The London office of a Financial Services practice has an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Paraplanner Team Leader to join their team. The successful candidate will be Level 4 qualified and an experienced paraplanner, looking for the next stage in the development of their career. The focua of this role will be leading and developing a team of paraplanners to deliver a first class research and report writing service. Main Duties: Leading and developing a client focused motivated team of paraplanners. Writing recommendation and strategy reports Providing regular updates to the Partner on their cases with the team. Dealing with Partners on a day to day basis and tasking in new cases to the team. Dealing with compliance on cases which require pre-approval. Undertaking cash flow modelling. Other research tasks and project work where required. Requirements Level 4 qualified. Previous experience working as a strong Paraplanner within an advisory environment. Excellent knowledge and experience of paraplanning pre and post retirement scenarios (including pension transfers), investments, protection and taxation. Previous experience developing a team strategy and implementing changes. Proven track record of balancing commercial needs with compliance requirements. Experience of team management and/or mentoring, coaching of people including performance management.
