Structural Engineer job in London/£30,000 per year upwards AMAZING OPPORTUNITY FOR A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER IN LONDON Your new company A very nice company that goes from growth to growth, with extensive experience in small, medium and large structures and strong presence in the tough UK market. A very well established architecturally led consultancy, with a wide range of projects in retail, commercial and residential development sectors. They deal with both refurbishments and new build, with project values up to £35M. Your new role You will work as a Structural Engineer responsible for ensuring all actions are conformed to current quality standards, processes and policies. You will be expected to manage your employees' technical work whilst managing the freelance engineers and subcontractors. You'll manage clients' relationships, provide future opportunities, maintain the current work flow ensuring efficient financial management to keep costs at the agreed levels, ensuring that the invoices are accurate whilst assisting the Managing Director with fee proposals. Strategic activities and managing your project resources will be part of your role, along with team leadership and assistance to the associates. What you'll need to succeed You will be a structural engineer with established skills, delivery capability, experience in residential and/or commercial structures with the ability to communicate well and develop client relationships, to make decisions with good organisational and interpersonal skills and be efficient when working under pressure. The senior structural engineer will be expected to take responsibility for their own development and to propose to attend training courses where appropriate.
