Contracts Manager - North Wales & Cheshire Your new company A leading North Wales based contractor are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team. This business are predominantly a civil engineering contractor however they also have their own pipeline of new build residential developments, are are working directly for Local Authorities on external works, highways and voids frameworks. The business are growing in size and present an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and hard working individual to grow into a senior level role moving forwards. The role will see you work between their office and based across various sites in North Wales, the Wirral and Ellesmere Port. Your new role You will oversee several projects from inception to completion, which will range from £1m groundwork, drainage and civils packages, through to external works and highways frameworks for local authorities, and potentially small bespoke housing developments coming through. You will effectively manage all men/trades on site, to ensure quality of delivery and highest standards of H&S are met on site. You will build relationships with key stakeholders and will manage client liaison, maximising work and getting involved with programming and developing schemes at pre-construction stages. What you'll need to succeed You are based local to North Wales/Cheshire and ideally have a good understanding of work in the ground/civil engineering, however applicants from main contracting and house building will also be considered. You are either working at Project/Contracts Management level and are ambitious to progress your career and put your own stamp on a business. You will report to the Company Directors and must be able to work with autonomy and effectively manage large teams on site.
