Clerk of Works / Quality Inspector, Permanent, Norwich, Salary up to £35,000pa Your new company We're delighted to be supporting an organisation in Norfolk to recruit a Clerk of Works or Quality Inspector for a permanent position. You'll be joining an experienced and multi-disciplined team who deliver a range of estates and assets services to a mix of public and private sector clients. Due to growth in workload, new client workstreams and several new and one-off projects, the organisation is looking to recruit to the team on a permanent basis. Your new role As Clerk or Works or Quality Inspector you'll be joining their busy Norwich based multi-disciplinary property team. You will be carrying out a full inspection on all building works, ensuring all information is documented and reported accordingly. You will be the first point of contact for assessing and reporting contractor defects, managing any remediation that is required and investigating any client complaints. This role is crucial to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved on the handover of completed projects. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will be ideally be a member of the Institute of Clerk of Works or be working towards. It is essential that you have a detailed knowledge of relevant property legislation, you will have extensive property knowledge and be well versed in relevant health and safety legislation. You'll be able to produce clear and concise reports and recommendations; a working knowledge of AutoCAD would also be highly beneficial.
