Architectural Technologist job, international design consultancy, Leeds, permanent, revit essential Your new company An international multi-disciplined design consultancy are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join their 'architects village' in West Yorkshire. Located just off the M1 this office is ideally located for easy access across the county. With a flexible working environment you will not have a set desk but rather be able to move to work closely with other disciplines or members of your own team to achieve the highest level of design. Your new role As an Architectural Technologist you will be supporting the design team from inception through to completion of projects, work within a BIM enabled environment using 3D tools and technologies. You will also be assisting in the preparation of concept scheme designs from Client briefs and working with other disciplines to test the validity of those designs, working as part of single or multi discipline team in the preparation of production information and working drawing packages, ensuring design co-ordination and interface resolution between multi-discipline teams throughout all design stages and preparing of full NBS specifications. What you'll need to succeed To succeed as an Architectural Technologist you will ideally be proficient using revit on live projects. You must be adaptable and confident supporting staff and liaising with clients. Relevant previous sector experience is not essential but would be advantageous if it was within higher education, transport or commercial sectors.
