Senior Quantity Surveyor

A new opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in West Suffolk. Your new company I am currently working with a construction company who are a leading provider of utilities services, including water, energy, gas and telecommunications. This organisation are currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, on a permanent basis based in West Suffolk. Your new role This organisation are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team, who will be responsible for assisting the commercial manager in the implementation of commercial reporting systems and procedure. The role will also involve working closely with project managers to maximise commercial benefits of contracts, as well as evaluating and managing all contractual risks. The role will involve particular focus on risk mitigation, pricing of variations (EWN/CE Processes), cost management and day to day contracts management. What you'll need to succeed You will need to: Be degree qualified in Quantity surveying, or have equivalent experience in this type of role Have excellent communication, organisation and time-management Have a UK driving licence Be flexible Experience within the utilities/power sectors would also be ideal, but not essential. What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000 which will be negotiable based on experience.
