Birmingham - Multi Trade - £18.48 - Umbrella - Temporary - Social Housing Hays Maintenance are currently working on behalf of a large housing association based in and around Birmingham. My client is currently looking for skilled Multi operatives on a temporary-permanent basis to carry out work on occupied and voids properties across their property stock. My client is looking for multi-trade specialists who are confident in a main trade such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering or decorating along with other minor trades. The successful candidate will have experience working within the social housing sector and time served to work in empty properties / voids environment. NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry Own Tools Drivers Licence Experience working in occupied and voids properties CSCS card and asbestos awareness is desired What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you must be able to use PDA, Carpentry Craft C&G or NVQ level 2, have a clean driver's license, have experience in social housing and be able to provide references for your previous work. You will also need to carry out a basic DBS due to the working environment you will find yourself in. You must provide own vehicle to carry out duties and provide relevant insurance. If vans available then could be accessed in temporary placement and any permanent offers in future will have van provided. What you'll get in return In return you will be earning an hourly rate of £18.48 per hour, get the opportunity to work for a well-established organisation in the local area and potentially go temp to perm in the role. You will also have access to a company vehicle and all power tools included with the role if taken on permanently. Working hours are 37 per week, working 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-4:15pm every Friday.
