Overview
Do you have a background in audio engineering and a genuine interest in music? Are you looking for a new challenge? If so, our client, who are leaders in their field, have an exciting opportunity for a Studio Assistant to join their busy and successful team based in West Wiltshire. As their Studio Assistant, your duties will include the following: Assisting a number of customer productions involving organising scripting and liaising with recording Artists to set up and record sessions Mixing the audio to produce productions as well as curating music and voice samples Encoding audio files to a number of different formats In addition, you will be involved with quality control, updating the supporting administrative duties so a good working understanding of Microsoft Office, Mac and PC systems is required A background or qualification in audio engineering is essential as well as experience of using Logic Pro and iTunes as well as a genuine interest in music and audio. You will also have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a number of external and internal stakeholders as well as the ability to work to strict deadlines with ever changing priorities.
