Overview
GiBe Finance are working with an engineering business in Leatherhead, recruiting a Management Accountant into a friendly Finance team. The business offer parking on-site and key areas of the role include; P&L analysis, treasury queries, quarterly VAT returns, cash flow forecasting & WIP. The Role: Preparation of cash flow forecast Review of bank posting and reconciliations of all bank accounts Completion of several business report request for ONS Resolve payment queries on payment platforms such as World pay and American Express Preparation of monthly management account with focus on the P&L analysis Manage the foreign exchange process, including reconciliations of the bank account, cash pooling accounts and member queries Continuous improvement: review and assess processes to maximize efficient processes and personal involvement in the finance department. This includes understanding and developing the reporting packages as and when necessary. Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and tasks as required Help with difficult credit control queries Preparation of Guarantees and bond for proposals and bid on new projects Provide training and support to other staff members Process of new AMEX credit card request and POC All treasury related queries such DD, SO and payment issues and be the point of contact with the bank Complete and Check VAT returns for 3 entities to include in group VAT return on a quarterly basis and ensure properly reconciled to nominal ledger Raise intercompany recharge invoices to other legal entities as required Production of European sales list quarterly for HMRC for 2 UK companies Preparation of WIP schedule Provide support and documentation for Audit requests ONS questionnaires Revaluation of debtors and creditors currency accounts Annual Audit file Annual Budgets WIP reports Payments processing and reconciliation Your Profile: Qualified by Experience or Part-Qualified Accountant Strong communicator - written & verbally Comfortable on Microsoft Excel
