Our team in Leeds are currently recruiting for Registered Managers to support clients within a care setting. Duties include: • Registration as the manager with the relevant regulator (CQC), complying with all relevant legislation and standards. Including the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated essential standards of quality and safety. • Provide effective leadership to the care team, monitoring and ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to the service user. • Work effectively with the service user and or their representative to develop person centred care packages which reflect best practice and meet the needs and preferences of the service user. • Ensuring that each young person has a plan which reflects his / her care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic and health needs and that this plan is regularly reviewed. • Working in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people • Maintain high standards of documentation and record keeping in relation to staff management and service users. About you: • We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who has passion, commitment and innovative thinking towards Learning Disabilities support for people of all abilities. • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and multitasking skills; • Effective supervision and leadership skills; • familiarity with, and the ability to apply, CQC, the Mental Health Act and other professional regulations such as Mental Capacity Act and DoLs • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care, or equivalent or should be willing to work towards one. • Maintain high standards of documentation and record keeping in relation to staff management and service users.
