Overview

Role: Senior Network Engineer Location: Crewe Length: 3-6 months Rate: up to £350-£400 per day (ball park) IR35: Outside My client is a well-respected company within their industry, after the business making multiple acquisition in the back end of last year they are needing additional support to manage the on going upgrades. You would be coming in working alongside a team of Linux, servers and voice engineer as well as the current network engineer. My client is currently looking for a senior network engineer to come in and join the team on a contract basis. Duties of the role: Lead firewalls migration from multiple vendors into Fortinet BGP routing upgrades Cisco Routing and switching expertise Essential Skills: CCNP level or Equivalent Commercial experienced with Fortinet/Fortigate Upgrading routing protocols Cisco R&S Desirable's: Experience with express route(Azure) / Direct connect (AWS) Working on internal infrastructure/network teams (as opposed to out sourced) This is a flag ship project as part of a business and technology transformation, The client needs experienced engineers who can hit the ground running with the ability to liaise with different teams and suppliers.
