I know what you're thinking, £55,000 isn't the highest salary on the market for a Financial Controller, however if you value a business that treats everyone as individuals and give people the tools and voice to really make a difference then this still could be the job for you. What do we need from you I hear you ask? You're going to need to be a strong manager of people and have prior experience with a team of 7 or more. You will have worked within a business that has a turnover higher than 80M and preferably experience taken from FCMG, Manufacturing, retail or distribution industries. You will be able to deliver high quality Management Accounts from your team, prepare annual budgets, liaise with non-finance departments, operate confidently with the FD and MD and offer them high quality analysis on the business. Obviously, you will be responsible for month-end, can you improve its processes? Speed it up? Can you improve the quality and effectiveness?
