Management Accountant - To £35,000 Benefits Your new company Your new company is a property management business which provides care and support for the elderly. The business are well established in the market and continue to grow. Your new role Your new role as management accountant is newly created and will report to the head of finance. This is a key position for the business and they are looking to secure a part qualified or recently qualified management accountant to be responsible for all aspects of the management accounting environment. Duties to include ;- Ensure business results are produced in an accurate and timely manner Develop forecasting models aimed to demonstrate contract performance Produce annual budgets and 5 year rolling projections Aid cash flow management Provide support with the introduction of a new finance system Ensure financial controls and adequate and in place A key skill you`ll have is a knack for investigating cost variances, recommending appropriate corrective action when required. You`ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to discuss results, forecasts and budgets to a high level, contributing to the ongoing successful financial position of the business. This is a role with great exposure to the SLT and you`ll be allowed to develop and grow with the company. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role you`ll have previous professional experience either as an assistant accountant, assistant management accountant or management accountant, you`ll need to be comfortable producing full sets of management accounts. Ideally you`ll be qualified or part qualified and actively studying towards completion of ACCA / CIMA. It is preferable that you have worked in a complex accounting environment and you are comfortable dealing with £10m turnover businesses.
