Credit Controller Kent This high-performing and hard-hitting law firm have multiple offices across the South East, including their beautiful head-office in a great West Kent location. With over 20 Legal 500 listings over the firm’s offices it is easy to see how successful and monumental this legal firm is in the UK. This firm have also been recognised in The Lawyer 200 and by Chambers and Partners. This impressive firm works alongside extremely high-net-worth private and commercial clients, all while maintaining a strong emphasis on work/life balance and flexibility for their staff. This team is looking to take on a credit controller as soon as possible to assist their team. The successful applicant will report directly to the firm’s Finance Operations Manager and will assist with credit control throughout the firm. The firm are hoping to take on someone hard-hitting and innovative who has different methods in which they contact clients, rather than sending standard templates every two weeks. This is all while keeping in mind that client care comes first, and situations should never be taken too far. Some of the central duties of this role include, but are not limited to: Taking over the phone payments Distributing bill reminders to clients Having over the phone client contact with clients regarding payments Dealing with queries from clients and people within the firm in relation to bills Settling client bills Ideal experience for this role: This person should have experience working within a credit control capacity within a professional services environment – ideally, but not essentially a legal firm A minimum of six months experience within computer-based credit control work A solid understanding of credit control work Hours: 9am-5:15pm, the firm are ideally looking for someone part-time for three days a week – but would consider 4/5 days for the right person Salary: £20,000 - £22,500 full-time equivalent Location: West Kent
