Financial Controller, Logistics, Supply Chain, Nottingham, £45,000 - £50,000p/a Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be supporting a leading multi-site Logistics and Supply Chain business in Nottingham to recruit a Financial Controller. The role will be based at the Nottingham Head Office with some travel to other sites. This is a newly created position due to continued growth over the last 2 years. The role will see you report to the Finance and Operations Director and you will be responsible for leading a small team across 5 sites. Brief overview of responsibilities: Deliver timely month end management accounts. Preparation of the Annual Budget. Liaise with Statutory auditors. Maintenance of Fixed Assets, Prepayments, Accruals and Intercompany Reconciliations. Preparation of quarterly VAT returns Produce weekly and monthly MI packs Reconciliation of debtor ledger Assist in implementation of a new ERP system Continued development of reporting and BI The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a background in Logistics, Supply Chain or Manufacturing. You will have advanced Excel skills and be comfortable manipulating large volumes of data. Additionally you should be an experienced leader with a strong track record of staff development.
