Overview
A leading manufacturing business in Kings Lynn are looking to hire an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for their production facility. This is a crucial role within the team, of which you'll take full responsibility for installing, validating, maintaining and continuously improving all manufacturing systems and equipment. Responsibilities will include: Plan and execute projects, from initial specification to production handover, meeting project targets and ensure 'end product' meets customer expectations and operational needs Provide specialist engineering and production process support and advice, including facility layout design, infrastructure and risk reduction activities Draft & maintain Planned Preventative Maintenance guidelines Manage contractors on-site, ensuring control procedures are in place Identify areas of improvement regarding manufacturing equipment and processes for ongoing cost effectiveness In order for your application to be considered, you'll need the following: Degree/Qualification in related Engineering discipline Project management skills (specifically relating to new equipment installation) Experience within high speed automation assembly Understanding of process equipment validation PLC Programming skills Additional skills in the following will be highly sought after: Understanding of maintenance procedures (TPM, PPM etc) AutoCAD and SAP experience Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical and control systems Experience/knowledge of packaging (cartons, sleeve wraps, heat seal pouches, labelling, bar and 2d coding) In return you'll receive an attractive salary and benefits package, which includes 28 days holiday ( 8 Bank Holidays), company pension and private health care.
