Due to ongoing growth, a Project Manufacturing Engineer is required to join the existing team at a leading manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products, exhaust management systems and related value-added services. Based in Clevedon, BS21 £37,000 - £39,000 per annum 37.5 hours per week 25 days holiday per year bank holidays Performance related bonus scheme Subsidised canteen on site Ample free parking and bike storage About the job Ownership of all manufacturing deliverables within all stages of the Product Commercialisation Process for new product platforms, customised products and continuous improvement projects Projects delivered on time to standard and within budget Manufacturing system and processes optimized to new or modified products Manage impact of first of kind products on manufacturing system performance and on time delivery of engineer to order products Controlled phase out and phase in of new parts and products within manufacturing Skills required Engineering Degree with 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing / assembly environment. Project management experience including implementation of complex and technically challenging projects Previous experience in key manufacturing principles such as TPM, 8D, 6S problem solving, product responsibility, continuous improvement process as well as new product introduction.
