- Easily accessible from the areas of Minworth, Erdington, and Aston - Top end hourly rate of £10.00 per hour with overtime premiums available - Benefits for the successful FLT Driver include guaranteed hours, free parking, company pension, overtime and temp-to-perm prospects We are recruiting experienced FLT (forklift truck) Combi drivers to join a key manufacturing business in the North Birmingham area. They are a progressive, fast-paced factory, offering the possibility of fixed term contracts once workers have successfully proven themselves. All applicants for this role MUST hold experience as a Counterbalance driver with Combi / Side Loader licencing in-date. In turn, the company will offer a starting rate of between £9.20 and £9.50 per hour to all FLT Combi Drivers (rotating AM/PM), with an incentivised rate of £10.00- £10.50 available for fixed nights. The company are looking to offer long-term positions within a dynamic, enviable automotive environment, with excellent amenities including a canteen and free public parking facilities. In order to be successful for this position, candidates must bring the following attributes: - In date FLT CB and Combi Licence - Proven ability with manoeuvring large bulky stock within narrow aisles - Good communication skills - Team player - Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines - Duties involve regular and repetitive lifting, when assisting in the machine shop Hours of work will be one of the following: - 0600 / 1400 rotating weekly (Mon-Fri) - 2200- 0600 (Monday to Friday) If you feel that you hold relevant experience as an experienced FLT Combi driver, don't hesitate - please click below to apply.
