Overview
I am currently recruiting for a SQL DBA with BI Development skills to join one of my clients in Milton Keynes, this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of Pension administration services. This is a contract position paying up to £400 per day DOE As SQL DBA your main deliverables will be: Assist in all aspects of the Migration and Upgrade from SQL 2008 R2 to SQL 2017 Assist in the upgrade/Migration of SSIS Packages to SQL 2017 Configuring SQL Clusters and Always on availability, and the documentation of the process As the SQL DBA, you will be responsible for the: Migrating SQL Server 2008R2 to SQL Server 2017 SQL Server Database Managed Services including monitored support ad-hoc design consultancy system performance audits licence audits and health checks You will also able to undertake project like Database ,optimisation, consolidation and migration. Knowledge of Always On Availability Groups and Windows Failover clusters. Health checking all SQL related Azure hosted databases. As the BI Developer you will be responsible for : Creation of systems which ensure the most effective delivery of business intelligence data (analysis, reports, dashboards, ETL) which assist teams across the organisation to make informed decisions on operational changes and delivering strategic goals. Design and maintain efficient data consolidation databases (Data Warehouse) for the use in Business Intelligence analysis, MI Reporting, power Bi and research analysis MI Reporting and research analysis Experience using the Microsoft BI Stack, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS Experience using Power BI and Azure stack Knowledge of TSQL scripting and the ETL process (SSIS Packages Migration) Excellent experience of creating new dashboards and reports This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who will let you fully utilise and enhance your current skill set.
