Semi Senior Accountant - Manchester city centre - Top 20 firm - Salary up to £25,000 (DOE) Your new firm A top 20 UK accountancy firm are seeking a hardworking semi senior accountant to join their fast-paced team. The firm offer a wide range of accounting and advisory services as well as a great benefit package. This is an excellent opportunity to excel your career in accounting whilst receiving training and support from a top 20 firm. Your new role In this Manchester semi senior accountant job you will be working as part of a larger team that provides an outsourced accounting service. Your role will primarily be focused towards preparing statutory accounts and preparing other financial reports such as forecasts, profit projections and bench-marking reviews. You will also process transactions, prepare and post journals, carry out bookkeeping duties, management accounts and prepare VAT returns. What you'll need to succeed The firm are looking for a keen individual that firstly possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. The firm are willing to consider anyone studying for their AAT, ACCA or ACA qualifications. You will need to have an accurate and methodical approach to work, previous experience of working in an accountancy practice and preparing statutory year-end accounts for multiple clients.
