Overview
PS Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Training and Competence Coordinator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth, to be responsible for the coordination of all training requirements and manage the coordination of the competency portfolios and support technicians in the collation of evidence. Responsibilities: Liaise with all supervisors and managers in the identification and mapping of training needs for employees, both client specific and job specific. Liaise with 3rd party Training Providers to source cost, work within budget, manage arrangements for delivery and arrange relevant purchasing documentation Responsible for maintaining the Training Matrices and ensuring any training due to expire is arranged before the expiration date. Provide administration support of the Human Focus e-learning platform. Gather any feedback or training course evaluations and raise any performance concerns with the Senior QHSE Manager. Provide support to employees to develop their competencies and support overall organisation performance. Manage and maintain the Competency Management System - ensuring Competency Portfolios are accurate such that they can be presented as required. Support and assist Employees in the compiling of their Competency Portfolios and act as a bridge between the Employee and the Assessor. Participate in any Third-Party Audits. Assist the QHSE Department, when required in the following areas: MyCompliance system support, Monthly reporting and Internal audits, Provide holiday/absence cover for Operations Department. Adhere to Company policies and procedures. To carry out other duties as required. Person Specification: Previous experience in a similar training & competency role - (Essential) Excellent organisation, planning and diary management skills - (Essential) Knowledge of Competency Standard, such as ISO/TS 17969:2017 - (Essential) Good communication and writing skills. Ability to liaise with a multi-disciplined team. A willingness to adapt to client’s requirements and operating policies. Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative.
