Staff Nurse Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire Salary: £24,990 - £30,900 per annum ( up to £16.00 per hour ) - negotiable depending on your experience bonus and overtime rates Bonus : £1,200 Learning Disability allowance per annum (paid in monthly instalments) Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours) Shifts : Options of Days only (8am - 8.20pm) or Nights only (8pm - 8.20am) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced staff nurse - RMN, RNLD or RGN - ( Mental Health Nurse , Learning Disability Nurse and/or Registered Adult Nurse ) to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive service for adults with complex needs. The Hospital is situated in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The Hospital has a good CQC rating. The Hospital has a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team. Service Details: The Hospital provides a specialist service for men and women with complex needs who may have a primary diagnosis of learning disability, mental health issue or personality disorder. The Hospital offers: Time limited treatment and rehabilitation placements Individualised and intensive treatment through our High Intensity Service in single occupancy apartments A step down pathway for those with a learning disability / Autism to Apartment Style living They offer some great incentives such as Employee of the Month, Bacon Sarnie Tuesdays and Cake Fridays to keep the morale high in the workplace Shifts : The hospital can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Please state if you have any preferences on your hours and/or shift pattern in your application. Their shift pattern is 8am - 8.20pm (days) and 8pm - 8.20am (nights). Location : The Service is best accessed via car and they have free parking on site. Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The hospital offers a structured and thorough 2-week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the hospital. There are no limits to training and development as the hospital will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role - for example, one of the ward managers is currently doing a masters in advanced clinical practice funded by the hospital. Staff wellbeing: The hospital has a monthly staff wellbeing budget and regularly host wellbeing events for their staff. For example, next month a massage therapist is coming into the hospital for 3 days to give massages to nurses for free. The hospital also does regular breakfast mornings, whereby the hospital director comes round with bacon / sausage butties or Krispy Kreme's for all staff.
