Portfolio Support Officer 3 months Bristol based £260 - £270 Outside IR35 I am currently working with a public sector organisation who are looking to add a Portfolio Support Officer to their team on an initial 3 month contract. The right candidate will have experience of programme or portfolio management, be proficient in MS Tools and have the ability to work across a multitude of smaller projects. The client is looking for a Portfolio, Programme and Project (P3) professional with experience of managing or supporting Portfolios or Programmes to work within the Change Portfolio Team. This is a temporary role in a team which is currently being restructured and reset. Key focus of the role will be to ensure that the existing Portfolio continues to be tracked and reported on, alongside the implementation of new processes and ways of working. The role holder will be expected to work flexibly across the team and will have the opportunity to share experience and skills to help to shape and expand the P3 capability within the new team. The role will involve: Support to the Change Portfolio Lead to ensure the Portfolio Management Office function continues to track and report progress to the organisation's executive. Specific elements of the role will include: Commissioning of papers; Analysis of highlight reports; Preparation of dashboards; Organisation of meetings; including production of supporting material, minutes and actions; Document and control of Portfolio Risk Registers; Control of Portfolio Benefits tracking Control of Portfolio Stakeholder and Engagement Plan Maintenance and tracking of progress against plans; Working with business partners in Digital, Finance and Commercial Specific deliverables: Portfolio dashboard on a monthly basis; Meeting notes and actions produced to deadlines; Risk Registers maintained Benefits tracking registers maintained Essentials Experience of Programme and Portfolio management. Experience user of MS Tools, particularly MS Office, MS Project, Powerpoint and Excel Desirables Programme or Portfolio Qualification e.g. MSP, MoP Benefits Management experience; Project Management qualification e.g. Prince2, APMG, Agile.
