Due to continued expansion and a fresh approach to development, we have a fantastic opportunity for a C# Developer to join our software development department based in Heanor, Derbyshire. Providing a test, rebuild and replacement service for a huge variety of electronic car parts to both the motor trade and the public. The Role The successful .Net Developer will be responsible for the continued development of the Company web site and customer portal. Other duties include: Integrating back-office Company workflow systems within an effective website user experience. Involvement in upcoming mobile application development projects Responsible for projects from start to finish (including supporting business and user acceptance testing), turning them into fully working solutions. Technical requirements Essential skills & experience : Skilled in C# Development Proven experience with T-SQL and MS SQL Server Experience with MVC Minimum 1 years’ industry experience with .Net framework 4.0 and above Understanding of OOP Principles Knowledge of developing mobile friendly web applications Desirable skills & experience : Web Services (WCF/RESTFUL) Exposure to Mobile Development on IOS and Android Experience with Umbraco CMS Windows Forms Knowledge of Reporting Services (SSRS) Experience with TFS or a good understanding of source control (branching/merging) HTML / CSS JavaScript and/or JQuery knowledge Experience of Xamarin would be advantageous Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. Occasional overtime or out of hours work will be required, especially during software releases.
