Belcan`s Marine Engineering teams already sustainable work load continues to grow, new additional packages of work have seen the creation further opportunities for Piping Detail Design Engineers. We are urgently looking to hear for experienced Engineers who as part of a multi functional/multinational team working alongside one of the world’s largest OEM`s, will utilise their experience and strong working knowledge of Piping design and detailing across industries such as the Oil and Gas, Power and marine to contribute to the successful delivery high value complex World Class engineering solutions. Responsible for the production of General Arrangement and Output Drawings, responsibilities will include; Execute Plant Layout and Piping discipline Draughting activities within budget and schedule. Close liaison with detail design and manufacturing, providing support as required for issues raised. All Equipment and Instrumentation tag numbers are indicated as per P&ID. All pipe supports (standard & special) are indicated and tagged and the locating dimensions marked. E nsuring Piping parts, systems design and GA`s align with the design and manufacturing requirements. E nsuring produced pipe routes meet manufacturing and installation standards. Incorporating the necessary data and updates into piping documentation. Qualifications and experience Proficient in the use 2D / 3D layouts & isometrics on tools such as AutoCAD/PDMS/CREO Experience of iso’s and layouts Possess a breadth of knowledge of Pipe systems. Experienced in a multi-disciplined engineering environment. Ability to perform with continuous attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
