Overview
This position is to work for a major corporate who are transitioning from an external provider. To help support this strategic initiative, a new IT Application services unit is being introduced, which will ultimately become the delivery unit for end users.This role is to be part of that team to help ensure that applications are transitioned back with the highest standards possible. Working outside IR35, you will implement new business application software, capturing end user requirements and configuring, testing and integrating as necessary, support new project implementation aligned with business objective and solution architecture, implement new releases of existing business application software, capturing end user requirements and configuring, testing and integrating as necessary, provide 2nd line support (L2-4 as applicable) for business applications under role scope and produce specifications and designs for application and its components to meet defined business needs, retaining compatibility with enterprise and solution architectures. You need experience in delivering support services in an asset management application space, experience in managing system governance, data along with business engagement for GIS management systems, experience of managing GIS solutions including GIS tools, Autodesk GIS, MapGuide, Mobile GIS, Geofield, address applications along with custom developed applications, knowledge and experience in managing system releases via BAU and emergency changes and in-depth knowledge of the GIS management systems products and development framework with a proven track record of supporting, implementing and improving applications.
