Overview
My client is a small chain of independent Opticians based in Coventry and they are looking to recruit a full time Optical Assistant or Trainee Dispensing Optician. This particular company pride themselves on offering exceptional levels of service to all patients, and have a real emphasis on quality. They utilise some of the very best testing equipment on the market and stock a wide selection of designer and bespoke frames. As an experienced Optical Assistant or Trainee Dispensing Optician you will have an excellent understanding of frames and lenses, including bi-focal and varifocal. As well as technical dispensing you will be responsible for; meeting and greeting patients, booking appointments, pre-screening, taking measurements and helping with fittings. The client really looks for outgoing and confident candidates who really understands the importance of patient care. The practice is willing to offer further training and development opportunities in the future and will support the Dispensing Optician course or Pre-Reg placement if needed. This is a full time role including Saturdays with working hours from 9am to 5.30pm. (5pm on a Sat) The salary is between £16,000 to £18,500 DOE.
