Embedded C Software Engineer

An electronics business who is heavily investing in brand new R&D projects is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join its IoT project team. You will be working on a brand new IoT development. The IoT system collects data from multiple sensors which then transfers the data to a comms hub using a range of low power wireless communication protocols. Some of the protocols used are Thread, WiFi and LoRa. For this role you should be a confident real time Embedded C RTOS programmer who has worked on products using low power wireless protocols. You should have worked throughout the software lifecycle (from concept to delivery). You will be joining the project at prototype stage. They have a prototype developed and working, but now wish to add lots of new additional features. This makes it an exciting time to join the company, as you will have opportunity to work on a new product whilst doing lots of new embedded software development. The future plans for this IoT product is very exciting, with lots of new ideas and developments planned. Customer feedback and demand for the product is very high, which means the business is comfortable investing in continued research and development. If you are seeking an Embedded Software role which is very much in the development phase and allows you to work on a product using the most modern wireless technology available, this role will be ideally suited.
