Reliability and Failure Analysis Engineer
Overview
A leading developer of opto-electronic devices now seeks an experienced Reliability & Failure Analysis Engineer. Working in this rapidly growing III-V device development environment, you will be responsible for the reliability strategy, product development projects and developing reliability test plans. In addition, you will identify device weaknesses and reliability risks with a view to defining reliability improvement proposals. Working between the Reliability and Project Teams, you will define burn-in, validation and qualification test programmes for the devices. Activities will include reliability measurement of devices, analysis of reliability test data and failure analysis. Qualifications: As the successful Reliability & Failure Analysis Engineer, you will have achieved a PhD in a relevant semicon, material science or device design discipline, with an in-depth knowledge of III-V optoelectronic device physics. Experience: In addition to your academic research / work, you will have worked in a commercial Fab, in device design and data analysis. Ideally you will also have experience in device reliability / failure analysis of semiconductor devices. Additional Information: Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK.
