Android Developer - Java Saltaire, West Yorkshire Up to £45,000 per annum DOE Plus Benefits (see below) Fleetondemand is a leading provider of cloud-based applications within the vehicle leasing, rental and automotive industry. As one of the fastest expanding companies in our market, we have ambitious plans for the future and are scaling up our teams significantly. We are now looking for an Android Developer to join our team at our HQ in Saltaire. As an Android Developer, you will: - Build native and hybrid mobile app solutions - Manage the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of each project - Write and develop clean and efficient code - Integrate apps onto Android platforms, including Google Play - Share best practice and learning across our product teams - Work under the direction of the Product Director Interested? To be considered as an Android Developer, you will need: - Experience of working on both native and hybrid mobile app solutions and their integration on Android platforms - Proven experience of building solid and reliable code using the latest best practice - Experience of the full software development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, development, testing and deployment - Experience of using source control, including Git - Experience with Java for Android - Familiarity with the Google Play Store release lifecycle - A creative approach to writing clean code to create a user-friendly experience Other organisations may call this role Android Application Developer, Mobile Application Developer, Software Developer, Mobile Software Developer, Mobile App Developer, Android App Developer, App Developer, or Programmer.
