About the Role: The role of the Lending Operations Manager is to progress residential development loan applications to completion, ensuring they are processed efficiently within policy and criteria. The Lending Operations Manager will manage all aspects of case pipelines, including making quality determinations in terms of risk, completing extensive due diligence and overseeing drawdown, all while developing good working relationships with borrowers, lenders and third party suppliers such as providers of legal services, valuers and monitoring surveyors. We are looking for a knowledgeable Lending Operations Manager to lead and manage our Loan Admin Team in addition to the Client Services Team. To be considered for this role, applicants must have experience of property development and a proven record within the residential development funding sector. The Lending Operations Manager will be responsible for working and promoting excellent working relationships with BDMs and other internal clients. Must be able to demonstrate a number of years’ experience within property finance which may include residential property development, commercial / semi-commercial, short-term lending or bridging, and ideally alternative finance/Peer to Peer. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on style and be an excellent team leader and communicator who has experience of leading process monitoring and improvement and a desire to deliver a high quality service to internal and external clients. About You: You will be an experienced line manager with experience gained in Property finance and knowledge of general banking credit process with the ability to extract key financial information. You will be able to build good working relationships with internal and external customers and professionals alike, be a self-starter and can thrive in a customer focussed environment.
