eFX Java Developer - Contract - London - Financial Services eFX Java Developer Financial Services London 6 Month Rolling Contract £Competitive pwd Role Description: Our client is investing heavily in their eFX (electronic FX) offering and is looking for software engineers to join a small globally distributed team to accelerate the delivery of key price distribution capabilities. Responsibilities: Develop key components of our eFX target state architecture by building new components or enhancing existing ones. Manage deliverables across multiple system owners to deliver critical changes to existing systems. Manage and resolve risks, issues and dependencies. Work closely with the eFX trading desk to gather and implement requirements, or integrate components written by the desk, Advise the eFX trading desk on technical design. Requirements: We are looking for individuals that can demonstrate sound software engineering principles, have implemented low latency trading applications and have a combination of the following technical skills: o Core Java o nix scripting o SQL Full stack development experience using React/Angular is highly desirable: Experience integrating with financial exchanges using the FIX Protocol. Experience of FX ECNs, e.g., Bloomberg, FXall, 360T is highly desirable. Experience working directly with a trading desk is highly desirable.
