Overview

IT Trainer - South Birmingham (Regional Role) - Up to £23,000 plus a £3,500 car allowance. / 28 Days holiday bank, Mileage Paid from home at 45p per mile, birthday leave, company pension, working equipment, investment in your CPD with training courses. A background in IT is required, you will be upskilled with a professional training qualification. The Role: IT Trainer • Would you like to train to become an IT Trainer? If you've got a background in IT or an IT related qualification such as HNC, HND or Degree, this specialist IT Training Provider will train you to become an IT Trainer. You will study for professional training qualifications which will enhance your career progression and of course your earnings • You will be delivering Microsoft Technical training to 1st and 2nd line support and other Microsoft IT related Technical roles. • You will be delivering up to level 3 Microsoft qualifications. Not Word, Excel or PowerPoint, but back office Microsoft so you need knowledge of this. • After your training, you will be based at home and you will be travelling to meet your learners who will be spread across the Midlands. You must therefore be prepared to travel, but you will be re-imbursed for your mileage. • A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required. Essential Requirements: IT Trainer • You must hold either an IT related degree or higher level IT qualification or a level 3 IT qualification and a sound track record working within an IT support role such as 1st or 2nd Line Help Desk Support. • You've probably delivered some form of training such as induction, or shown colleagues how to complete tasks, or even been a sports coach - you enjoy training and helping people. • You will possess either GCSE or Functional Skills in Maths and English and good written and spoken English. • You must be able to drive. If you'd not had a DBS check, you must be prepared to undergo one to validate that you are suitable to work with young, potentially vulnerable people. • You must be prepared to train to become a trainer. This involves studying for professional training qualifications which will support your future career and of course earnings.
