HR Advisor

Permanent HR Advisor in Teesside I am currently recruiting for a HR Advisor, working for a world leader based in Teesside. This is an exciting permanent role, providing a fantastic package. Duties will include: Serve as first point-of-contact for HR queries from line managers and employees on relevant employment law issues in line with Company Policy and Procedures whilst providing accurate and timely information and advice To assist with the development of Company processes, policies and working practices in accordance with legislation and best practice. To ensure that HR processes remain fit for purpose and maximise the most efficient use of Human Resources To coach and develop managers and supervisors in HR responsibilities and company processes Owner of HR issues as appropriate: - Performance appraisals Absence management Redundancy process Site advice and guidance within region Industrial relations advice/guidance Handling of discipline and grievance issues Provision of advice and guidance on remuneration issues To direct complex queries which require either detailed local knowledge/presence or ongoing support, to the HRBP To assist with HR input into bids / tenders Be proactive in facilitating organisational change Provide advice and contribute to the implementation of HR Programs and change management initiatives Undertake HR Project work and research as directed Provide generalist HR support across their region and organisation What you'll need to succeed A Levels or equivalent Membership of CIPD Previous experience across a broad range of HR activities including: Disciplinary / Grievance situations TUPE Redundancy Absence Management Performance Management Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control own workload Excellent communication skills and ability to promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality Well-developed IT skills What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
